Not being in Iraq and Afghanistan is the same as letting evil dictators and tyrants such as Saddam kill, oppress and torture the population.

Both wars were right and just, and the US and UK need to stay there to finish the job.

The truth is the US invaded the Middle East not because to help the Middle Easterns in any way. They started the unnecessary war for their own importance and nothing else. It's sad how so many people actually believe the Americans are heroes in the war.

Presumably having made that statement you can back it up with some hard evidence rather than just hear-say.

Can you prove that there are actually a bunch of dictators and evil terrorist groups in the Middle East terrorising the locals? Can you prove that Americans and their allies are fighting terrorists? Or are they fighting the locals who are trying to defend their lands?

The mainstream media is full of propaganda.

Well yes I can actually, my brother has worked in Afghanistan and Iraq and seen the insurgency for himself.

Well your brother can't know much as he was not involved in the so-called "war on terrorism" himself. And even if he went there as a soldier he would only obey commands from the people above him. The US until now cannot prove that they are fighting terrorists. They only talk about it but not in details.

He was not a solider, he was a civilian working for an aerial surveilance company.

Are you saying Suddam Hussein was not a tyrant and didn't commit mass murder?

The terrorists are just doing to America what they did to the Soviet Union back in the 80's: Get them bogged down in a lengthy insurgency, which greatly contributes to their economic collapse. America even taught them that tactic.

And another 30,000 troops heading to Afghanistan!

Not to forget the 56,000 contractors going with them...

Erm is this just a numbers game?
