Are there any news articles about this? I haven't heard anything about it yet, but I do think that this invention would be amazing and would definitely be very good for the world as a whole.

I haven't heard about this...any sources you could cite would spark better conversation.
I hate wires and would welcome wireless electricity...

Nicola Tesla had this way back in the 1800's It was a good idea, and was very convenient, but it was ridiculously inefficient. It's nice for science experiment or for a novelty, but unless we get a radically different source of power it's mostly useless.
