Technology Boon or bane????

This topic is so much interesting technology a boon or bane think well just don't tell its boon each and every technology leads to the laziness of human beings for Ex: IT professionals do their job in front of their computer for 7-8hrs which may lead to bad health condition with out physical fitness... post your opinions

Technology offers many advantages than disadvantages. it has made our life easy, comfortable, simple and luxurious.

Technology is supporting human so much that now a person can work from his home.

It has helped a lot in uniting people. Infact with the help of internet the world has just turned in to a global village.
now people can be connected 24x7 with the important people all over the world.

ok every thing has two sides. Technology is making people lazy and slaves to it.

it all depends on how well we use it.

so i feel that this technology is more boon than bane

I have giving up on most new technology, i don't need all this new stuff that comes out each week, if TV ads come on TV i turn over till the ads are gone, i don't look at any newspaper ads, infact even online i don't look at banner ads, as i use a pop-up block.

Without a doubt some of these IT jobs bring about harmful affects, but so did some classic jobs. For example, some factor workers still suffer from muscle pain etc.

So years ago those who worked in IT would have probably done some sort of manual labor job, even if it was well paid, that potentially would have harmed their bodies anyway.

Technology is most definitely a good thing. While technology may replace jobs, it still makes everything much easier for us. Eventually it will be technology that keeps the human race alive and running like it shoulde. Eventually we will have to get off of this planet once its resources are drained, and technology is the ONLY thing that will allow us to do that.
