If you thought the $700 billion bailout package was outrageous, I don't even want to imagine what you think about this! Is this ok? Do you agree?

Oh my God. It isn't that I didn't know about this, it's just that I have been trying so hard not to think about it. 5 Trillion is such an outrageous number, it feel made up! But, no, that's out debt. The debt of the richest nation in the world...unbelievable.

This debt has not come overnight, it has been all these days accumulating like poison and this time the government has revealed it, nothing else. It is real and now we have no other option but to accept it.

no other option... other than STOP USING PLAY MONEY, you mean?
that's all we are doing you see, ever since the world war II, richard nixon took us off the gold standard, we been using nothing but paper, worth no more than the wad currently stored in my monopoly game. we didn't have outrageous inflation and huge national debts until after we were off the gold standard. not hard to figure out really. what this country needs is an experienced leader, not with plans and promises, but with action, someone who already had and has been taking action. and we need gold back behind our dollar. we get that and inflation stops, gold price goes down, dollar goes up, we pay off the national debt, and stop selling ourselves to china and japan for cheap labor and electronics. that's whats been happening, who do you think we sell all those government stocks and bonds to? citizens? nope. china's been buying em up as we sell em, eating into our nation bit by bit, owning more and more, and we are giving it to them.
