Israel strikes Gaza killing over 300 Palestinians... And 3 days into the strikes over 800 injured. Hospitals are overflowing. The humanitarian situation is dreadful.

And the world as always is watching. Unfortunately, this is no film, but reality! What's to be done? Is this ok or not?

What we are experiencing here is the culmination of i don't know how many years of intollerence ill-education and a fundamental lack of understanding on our part of the nature of the conflict that has been unfolding in Gaza for many years.

We have failed the Palestinian people, thier decline has been slow and insideous.

I think it's a great shame but despite the best efforts of many people no-one has been willing or able to get off thier arse and do anything constructive to resolve this long running conflict.
